About Us

"The Terry family" began like many other family's, in a church. For us it started on a hot June day in southern Kentucky surrounded by our friends and family. We said "I Do" and everything about that day was perfect. We promised God we would follow Him and allow him to direct our journey.
In 2011 God convicted us that we were not doing enough. Even though my husband was leading a church, we felt we should be doing more. We gave God everything, and in return he wrecked our world in the best way imaginable. In all honesty, when we sat down, we weren't doing enough, giving enough, living for Him enough. We had been living selfishly. We gave up control and 100% sold out to help promote his cause.

My husband jokes that he was never called into ministry, he just volunteered. Sometimes the greatest calling a person can have is volunteering...

 

Then I head the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8

So here we are, 6 years later and God is wrecking our world once again. He has led us to adoption and we are looking forward to the journey that is ahead.
